Phil Collins scraps retirement plans, announces potential ideas for a tour in the future

Sussudio singer Phil Collins recently did an interview with Rolling Stone, and he can't wait to get back on the road.

“The horse is out of the stable and I’m raring to go,”, the 64 year old said.

He doesn't want to do the whole world, but "(he) would like to play the stadiums in Australia and the Far East, and that’s the only way to do that. But there’s a part of (him) that just wants to do theaters.

He may need just a 'bit' of time to prepare, as it was only days ago that he underwent major surgery after waking up unable to move his foot, with the doctor telling him it'd be hard work to ever play drums again, but he has no plans of stopping.

The announcement has been in the works for a while, as Collins had brought bassist Lelan Skar and drummer Jason Bonham to rehearse material late last year. His back problems had brough that to a halt, but he is 'all better now'.

Collins is set to begin work on his new album soon, and you'll hear from us first as soon as that happens.
